2020 has been a difficult year. With no end in sight to COVID-19 restrictions, concerns around the health, safety and overall well-being of our communities continue. While the use of public transportation and indoor fitness centres has declined during the pandemic, the world has seen a boom in cycling (including increases in bike sales, google map cycling route searches and bike share memberships).
So what are we seeing specifically here in Hamilton?
There is no better time to check in with the cycling community — those who love, need or want to ride a bike — in this region. At Cycle Hamilton, our mission is to make Hamilton a city where people of all ages and abilities can safely get around by bike to all parts of the city. But in order to better advocate for cycling infrastructure and bring bicycle riders together, we need to understand the needs and habits of our community better.
Here’s where you come in.
Fill out the survey and you’ll be up for one of three great prizes:
